These are a selection of some of my favourite images capturing the memories of the past in the form of rural and industrial decay.
Many of our pioneering and early industrial resources have, for whatever reason, not survived and now lay in a state of decay and abandonment, some, never going to survive no matter how much money and good intent is invested in them.
In the future, images like these will be the only remaining records of what was once somebody’s dreams and ambitions.
